Byte Me!

Do you have secrets?
Secrets that are so dangerous or outrageous that nobody is allowed to know them? Probably not. And if you don’t have anything to hide, it doesn’t matter that everyone has access to your personal data, right? The government, companies, friends, family and strangers. Or does it?

Byte Me! is a performance about privacy. How much we and others value our personal data. About who those people are, who want to know everything about us. We discover that our ‘private I’ thinks, feels and fantasises less undisturbed. Everything needs to be shared. In a mixture of theatre performance and an utterly honest party game with the audience, we go in search for what we want to reveal and what we don’t want to reveal. When are all those data a blessing and when are they are curse?
