KOMEN EN GAAN / 4+

In Komen en Gaan, a wall of dense columns serves as the boundary between the performers and the audience. Little by little, the wall is broken down, and the play can begin. How big must the opening be for us to meet each other? And how do we continue building with the fragments of a world that was divided and unequal? A singer is so different from a dancer, isn’t she? And a dancer is nothing like a singer. Great, let’s keep it that way. A fish can swim, a monkey climbs a tree. On the stage of this world, we create colorful unity through difference.

Let’s open up everything that is closed. Let’s make meeting happen. Let’s make coming together and going forward possible. It’s a beginning.
