YOUR ID(EA) #2: EMPOWERMENT & LEADERSHIP BY AYRA KIP Dive into the world of entrepreneurship! Where do you start and which approach suits you best? How do you translate your vision into concrete actions and what steps do you need to take to realize this?
In our workshop we offer concrete tools in the field of fundraising. You will learn different methods of raising funds that match the sector in which you are active or want to become active in, and discover which approach suits you best. You will also receive practical tools, such as translating your artistic concept into a project plan and associated budget.
Whether you are a novice entrepreneur or already have some experience, this workshop will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to convert your ideas into successful projects. Get inspired and empowered to take your entrepreneurship to the next level!
PREPARATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Before the Empowerment & Leadership workshop by Ayra Kip, you'll receive an email with three questions to answer by Saturday, May 25:
1. What is your relationship with money, and what does it mean to you?
2. What is your biggest challenge with fundraising?
3. What is your current biggest challenge in your artistic career from an entrepreneurial perspective?
Your ID(ea) is made possible by VSB Fonds and Fonds21 EXTRA. Workshops are suitable for BIPOC and queer individuals aged 16 and up. You can purchase a pay-what-you-can ticket for one workshop or a combo ticket for all three workshops.
AYRA KIP
Ayra Kip is a writer, successful social entrepreneur, and award-winning fundraiser. She has led long-term projects such as Art Rules, the largest educational arts program in the Dutch Caribbean. In 2018, she co-founded KIP Republic with her twin sister Ira, a creative platform telling underrepresented stories. They also co-founded Free Heri Heri for All, promoting inclusive commemoration and celebration of Keti Koti. At KIP Republic, Ayra serves as the artistic director, project developer, and fundraiser.
