This autumn holiday, Dinis @dinisvvreden is once again transforming the foyer into an open studio. Inspired by the lunar eclipse, the cycle of Let’s Flow and the new season, this autumn holiday art project explores the theme of the lunar cycle. All the windows and tables in the foyer will become your canvas as you work together to create a vast moonscape!

When was the last time you looked at the moon? What were you thinking? What colours does the moon have, in your eyes? How does the moon affect your feelings? And why are there 13 moons this year, while our calendar only has 12 months?

Come by with your family and friends from one hour before the first performance of the day until one hour after the last performance, and discover the artist within you! Pull up a chair, meet others and create a collaborative artwork with your fellow artists, transforming the foyer into a vibrant open studio.

Maas loooooves Dinis!

In this edition of our Kunstmakers series, we take a walk with Dinis towards the Kruiskade, her favourite place in Rotterdam! A place where there’s always something happening, yet somehow, right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, she finds her peace.

We dive into the world of art, creativity and… the moon! Dinis tells us about the people and things that inspire her, the message she hopes to convey through her art, and the inspiration behind the theme of the Open Atelier.
