IN SHORT: In The great clash, you challenge your preconceptions in a magical boxing ring. What is real and what do you make up yourself when looking at shapes and colours that represent our perceptions and beliefs?
How do you dance your prejudices away?
Everything we see evokes a response in us. Tough, sweet, weak, beautiful, weird… Often, we form an opinion before we can even explain why. Even at a young age, children begin to make these kinds of associations. In The great clash, we explore the question: what is real, and what do we make up ourselves?
How do you see the world around you? Does everyone see the same thing, or does each of us see it differently? In a magical boxing ring, we take on our prejudices, encountering shapes and colours that represent our perceptions and beliefs. What is real, and what do we make up ourselves?
The audience sits all around the boxing ring, offering a view of the action from every angle. Inside the ring, there are no people facing off against each other, but figures with distinctive shapes and colours. A spiky black silhouette, a soft, fluffy pink creature, an angular, cool-blue figure… They don’t speak or make a sound, yet we still have feelings about them. Funny, isn’t it?
